ISAAC STRIKE GOLD AT SOUTH WEST LINCOLNSHIRE INDOOR ATHLETICS FINALS

Our team of talented Year 5 and 6 pupils achieved remarkable success last week as they were crowned overall winners at the South West Lincolnshire Indoor Athletics Competition.

The event, which featured a full programme of track and field challenges, brought together schools from across the region. Isaac’s young athletes had spent weeks preparing in after‑school training sessions, and their hard work was evident throughout the morning. Team members showed exceptional commitment, cheering one another on and demonstrating impressive skill, determination, and sportsmanship.

Once all races and field events were complete, officials converted times and distances into final scores. As the results were announced, the Isaac team waited in anticipation, before erupting in celebration upon hearing they had secured first place overall – our first win at this event in over 8 years!

Staff praised the pupils’ outstanding effort and attitude. “The children thoroughly deserved their gold medals,” said the PE Team. “Their determination, teamwork, and positivity shone through in every event.”

We would like to extend our thanks to the parents and carers who attended to cheer on the children, as well as a special acknowledgement to Laura for her meticulous work in organising the event entries.

With gold medals around their necks and smiles all around, the victory marks a proud moment for our entire school community.
