Pupils Achieve Silver at Tri-Golf Competition

On Thursday 9 July, Mrs Haddock and Mr Doughty accompanied ten Year 4 pupils to the Tri-Golf Competition held at The Priory Ruskin Academy.

The children participated in seven different golf-based activities, using both putters and irons to score as many points as possible. Following the completion of all events, the pupils’ individual scores were combined to produce a team total.

We are delighted to announce that Isaac Newton achieved an impressive score of 812 points, earning the team Silver Medal status.

The children worked exceptionally hard throughout the day, demonstrating determination, resilience and outstanding teamwork, despite the challenging hot weather conditions. They were excellent ambassadors for the school and should be extremely proud of their achievement.

This event marks the conclusion of another extraordinary year of sporting success for the school. We would like to extend our sincere thanks to the local School Games Organisers (SGOs) for their hard work in planning and delivering the many sporting competitions and festivals that our pupils have enjoyed throughout the year.
