Special Visitors to Isaac Newton Primary School

Isaac Newton Primary School were proud to welcome the Department for Education’s East Midlands Regional Director, Nigel Minns, into school today. He was joined by Jahana Akhter, DfE Delivery Officer, and Amanda Griffiths, RISE Advisor, alongside CIT’s Directors of Education, Paul Hill (Primary) and James Ellis (SEND).

The visitors were given a tour of the school by Headteacher David Milner, spending time in classrooms meeting pupils and staff. Mr Minns particularly enjoyed joining in with the Early Years children during outdoor play, where he saw first-hand the curiosity and enthusiasm of our youngest learners.

The visit was a valuable opportunity to showcase the fantastic work taking place across the school and to celebrate the positive learning experiences enjoyed by our pupils every day.
